WALL\THERAPY is a Rochester, NY non-profit that has artists from around the world paint murals in a week long festival to help build community. My involvement with WALL\THERAPY started in late 2013 when the co-curator asked me to design the yearly catalog book. I fell in love with the organization because of their efforts in rebuilding Rochester and their support for local artists.
In 2014 I took lead in orchestrating WALL\THERAPY’s presence on Google Cultural Institute as well as redesigned the website. Even though I have moved away from Rochester, I stay involved by managing the web content and volunteering with any projects they have going on. My experience with WALL\THERAPY has taught me to appreciate community and the power of art.
The WALL\THERAPY 2013 catalog book won AAF Regional Gold and District Silver award for print design
